For more than 35 years, we've been serving pan-baked pizza, ice cream, and good times on the banks of the Contoocook River — right next to the world's oldest covered railroad bridge.

Riverside Pizza started in 1989 as Dimitri's Pizza, established by the Tsihlis family. For more than 30 years, Dimitri's was a beloved fixture in the Contoocook and Hopkinton community — serving pan-baked pizza, calzones, and ice cream to generations of neighbors.
In early 2022, the Lux brothers purchased the restaurant. They spent months learning the industry and, most importantly, the food — working alongside the Tsihlis family to make sure every recipe and tradition stayed exactly the way you remember it.
In mid-2022, Dimitri's was rebranded to Riverside Pizza to celebrate the picturesque Contoocook River that runs alongside our patio. Both families remain deeply involved — and we hope you'll join us for some delicious pizza, ice cream, and more.

Step out of the restaurant and you're standing right next to the Contoocook Railroad Covered Bridge — the oldest surviving covered railroad bridge in the world.
Built in 1850 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the bridge is a beloved village landmark and the perfect backdrop for a slice on the deck. Take a stroll across after dinner — it's just steps from our front door.
